The Brodhead Watershed Association (BWA) is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to protecting and improving water resources and the environment in the Brodhead and Cherry creek watershed. The BWA assists municipalities, residents, businesses and groups with protecting natural resources through education, workshops, seminars, public programs, stream monitoring and baseline data collection and stream cleanups.

Read our Mission and Meet our Board of Directors.

The BWA is a volunteer grassroots organization. Financial support comes entirely from membership contributions. We also seek grants to carry out special projects to benefit the watershed community.

Cherry Creek, located immediately to the south of the Brodhead watershed, is also considered part of the Brodhead watershed, although it enters the Delaware a short distance south of the Brodhead. The Cherry Creek watershed (also known as Cherry Valley) covers 31 square miles
