Another fieldstone, as opposed to the later cut stone style, home has been restored in the Stormville area of the valley. Across the street from this home is a highly decorative 19th century barn that boasts fancy arched windows. This property traces back to the 1762 King George Grant of 1,200 acres to a Mr. Houser. Indian hatchets created the indentations on the back door of the home during a raid in the area in the late 1700's, according to local lore.
