On March 3, 2010, Brodhead Watershed Association, in partnership with Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Monroe County Conservation District and Pocono Heritage Land Trust sponsored a program for golf gourse managers on the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program for Golf Courses. Speaker Jim Sluitter, from Audubon International explained how the program works and the Business Value on Environmental Stewarship and Trish Attardo, Watershed Specialist with Monroe County Conservation District introduced watershed concepts and an understanding of watersheds in Monroe County.
